We all know that this morning World Health Organisation has declared that corona virus is a world pandemic.

That said; 114 countries are not affected by it with more than 5000 people already died.

Disease/illness caused by corona virus is called COVID-19

What COVID-19 means?

Well as per WHO COVID-19 stands for as displayed below.

What COVID-19 Stands for

Almost 30,000 people in the UK have been taken to the hospitals/GP’s and Labs to be tested for the virus, with 400+ found to be positive for the respiratory infection out of which 6 people have died who were tested positive

Approx 500+ cases of the corona-virus have been confirmed across the UK.

Predictions

There is a book called “End of Days: Predictions and Prophecies”. This book is all about the “End of the World”. How its going to happen and when written by Sylvia Browne. In this book Sylvia predicted that the global outbreak of corona-virus will be happening somewhere around 2020. Although if we look back this book was first published in 2008. A photo of an excerpt from the book is going viral across on social media platforms and is very scary because that’t what’s happening right now.

I mean who could do this kind of prediction. Someone who know everything happening or someone who is a psychic.

Viral picture on social media “In around 2020 a severe pneumonia-like illness will spread throughout the globe, attacking the lungs and bronchial tubes resisting all known treatments,”

Another book which emphasis on similar theory is from an american author Dean Koontz. He predicted that somewhere around 2019–2020 there will be a virus outbreak back in 1981. His book named as The Eye of darkness has got good attention on social media.

Till today he got more than 40K shares and 3K tweets on twitter.

Viral picture of wuhon-400

Most of the claims circulating on social media show the book’s cover and a page in the book mentioning a virus called “Wuhan-400”. The widely circulated photo of Koontz’s book page includes some highlighted text reading:

“They call the stuff Wuhan-400 because it was developed in a at their RDNA labs outside of the city of Wuhan, and It was the four-hundredth viable strain of man-made microorganisms created at that research centre”.

There is no proof or evidence available that the new COVID-19 was created in a lab or by even humans. The virus is believed to have started spreading end of last year in a grocery market in Wuhan. It was notified that this food marketplace was selling illegal animal flesh and body parts. Experts from health industry predict that it may have originated in bats and then passed to humans but what if its not. What if it was developed in labs for a particular purpose?

Reuters looked at further references of “Wuhan-400” in Koontz’s book.

It seems like what Kootz has written about wuhan-400 and how cOVID-19 behaves are totally different. Koontz said in the novel that the virus has a incubation period of 4 hours where as COVID-19 incubates for more than 10 days. Specifically its between one to fourteen days.

The symptoms and behaviour of Koontz’s “Wuhan-400” are very different to COVID-19. In the novel, the virus has an incubation period of “only four hours”. COVID-19’s incubation period is between 1–14 days. Although when I digg-ed into WHO website I found out that most common incubation period is between 1–5 days.

In the novel Kootz mentioned that if you get Wuhan-400 you are certain to die. So basically it has a 100% kill rate. Whereas COVID-19 kill rate is very limited.

Now all we have to remember here is all this written text is from fiction and non reliable sources. But what if its true. Why would a country will do something like that. Lets have a look at some numbers and facts considering for a moment that perhaps this all was planned.

China problem with population

During the mid-twentieth century, China’s population was growing at a breakneck pace. From 1950 to 1978, China averaged a 20 percent annual natural population growth rate.

Driven by fears of the extraordinary challenges of effectively governing such a rapidly expanding population, the Chinese government began to institute population-control measures in the 1970s.

The one-child policy, initiated in 1979, limited urban couples to a single child, and as a result China’s fertility rate fell dramatically, from 2.8 children per woman in 1979 to 1.7 in 2014. In 2013, any parents who themselves were only children were permitted to have a second child. In 2015, the government extended this policy to all couples, formally ending the one-child policy.

This decline in birth rate coincided with governmental policies facilitating greater access to healthcare, leading to advances in several health indicators.

Mao Zedong’s famous “barefoot doctors” program trained hundreds of thousands of young Chinese to provide affordable basic care to China’s rural population. Largely stemming from improved rural healthcare access, life expectancy in China increased from 43 in 1960 to 75 in 2013.

In the same period, infant mortality decreased from 12.8 percent to 0.7 percent. Greater life expectancy, combined with decades of implementing the one-child policy, has contributed to China’s current demographic problem.

The low and high-fertility variants in the below graph bracket the probable range of future population change in China while the constant-fertility line assumes that future fertility remains unchanged.

On February 7, 2019 BY CHARLIE CAMPBELL has written an article on time titled China’s Aging Population Is a Major Threat to Its Future

If you read through it you will see he mentioned that China’s population will peak at 1.44 billion in 2029 before entering “unstoppable” decline, according to a Chinese Academy of Social Sciences study released in January 2019.

The country will enter an “era of negative population growth,” the report says, warning that by 2065 numbers will return to the levels of the mid-1990s.

Fewer people means less domestic consumption, and thus rapidly slowing economic growth. The ratio of young to old will be dramatically imbalanced by the rising ranks of the elderly, putting unprecedented weight on the ties that hold society together.

How many old people are there in china?

241 million; country is in an ageing population, which means it occupies 10 percent or 7 percent of the total population aged over 60 or 65 respectively. In 2017, in China, the proportion of Chinese citizens above 60 years old obtained 17.3 percent, approximately above 241 million.

In 2018, 2.499 million population over 60 years old occupied 17.9 percent of the total population and it was 8.59 million more than that at the end of 2017. So now in 2020 you can imagine how much this number has increased.

Conclusion

So if you think that there is a slight possibility china has created this COVID-19 virus to get rid of its old age population. Then perhaps you need to look at the data and analyse it yourself.

According to my understanding this is all theoritical right now. But hey who knows what tomorrow brings.

Here are some helpful tips for you to understand and save yourself from COVID-19.

Here is what you should do in order to save your self from COVID-19

Wash your hands frequently

Regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water.

Why? Washing your hands with soap and water or using alcohol-based hand rub kills viruses that may be on your hands.

Maintain social distancing

Maintain at least 1 metre (3 feet) distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing.

Why? When someone coughs or sneezes they spray small liquid droplets from their nose or mouth which may contain virus. If you are too close, you can breathe in the droplets, including the COVID-19 virus if the person coughing has the disease.

Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth

Why? Hands touch many surfaces and can pick up viruses. Once contaminated, hands can transfer the virus to your eyes, nose or mouth. From there, the virus can enter your body and can make you sick.

Practice respiratory hygiene

Make sure you, and the people around you, follow good respiratory hygiene. This means covering your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze. Then dispose of the used tissue immediately.

Why? Droplets spread virus. By following good respiratory hygiene you protect the people around you from viruses such as cold, flu and COVID-19.

If you have fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical care early

Stay home if you feel unwell. If you have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical attention and call in advance. Follow the directions of your local health authority.

Why? National and local authorities will have the most up to date information on the situation in your area. Calling in advance will allow your health care provider to quickly direct you to the right health facility. This will also protect you and help prevent spread of viruses and other infections.

Stay informed and follow advice given by your healthcare provider

Stay informed on the latest developments about COVID-19. Follow advice given by your healthcare provider, your national and local public health authority or your employer on how to protect yourself and others from COVID-19.

Why? National and local authorities will have the most up to date information on whether COVID-19 is spreading in your area. They are best placed to advise on what people in your area should be doing to protect themselves.
